Little Gal Visits the Valley – Taking Turns

The play area isn’t always on this side of the rosa rugosa. When it is, there is a glimpse into the playtime of Little Gal and The Boy Next Door. Yesterday they spent most of their time swinging, sliding, and twisting on the rings of the gym set in the backyard. Little Gal’s daddy and granddad had built the gym for her last summer. She and BND have been playing on it, even during the winter, with snow on the ground, ever since.

At one point, at the sliding board, there was a display of the my turn/your turn conflict. Who was in the right wasn’t easy to determine, but Little Gal’s arms were crossed, and BND maintained control of the board until he was good and ready to relinquish his rights to a finger wagging female.

Little Gal and BND….Definitely the battle of the sexes.  She could not have cared less when he wanted her to watch him.  And that just burst his bubble.  Cute.  In case anyone wonders how long men and women have been squabbling, I think that just shows it!

Ah yes. I had a BND and I had the very same problem. He always liked to over extend his turn so that it was about him rather than about the playing together. Used to irritate the crud out of me! 😉 But then, we\’ve been going back and forth for 26 years.– Fizz —

The Battle of the Sexes begins………………even in kindergarten, it\’s them against us. It\’s been going on since the first cave guy set eyes on the first cave gal, and it won\’t end \’til we\’re as dead as the dodo. But, as my French ancestors would have said,"Vive la difference!" It\’s that difference that makes the eternal battle so much fun!

Absolutely loved the video.  Little Gal said a mouth full when she  crossed her arms!  Ah, but to no avail!  The battle lines have been drawn!  Thanks again for a wonderful video.  Hugs

Love that little red-headed gal!!!….I married one.  Yes, (Patty my wife, my redhead) we are doing fine.  Our PC burned up on Monday the 18th, so I\’m just now back in business.  Having worked with Windows XP for over 4 years, I\’m going to have some headaches with this Vista for sure.  Be patient with old John.  I\’ll work out the kinks.
