Snowed in November

Daily falling through the valley
whitening every abode,
It white dressed the fields
And camouflaged the road.

Crunching through it’s coldness,
Our pace numbly slowed.
Breaths turned to icicles,
And cheeks wildly glowed.

Trudging gamely onward,
Carrying extra clothing load,
Conversation wasn’t hindered,
No, it literally flowed,

About how this November
We’d been thoroughly snowed!

    Snow in November
    Ain\’t for me.
    If I had my druthers,
I\’d be basking by the sea.

Love the snow and love the words you added to the photos.  I love coming here as it makes me feel closer to my grandparents who we would go see every year in West VA.
    Take care and stay warm!

The pictures of the snow are very pretty. As long as its somewhere else. Ha-ha. No seriously, you are gifted with the words of prose. Beautiful.

A wonderful "feel good" post.  You have a knack for making visitors feel at home when we visit from a distance.  I want to personally thank you for sharing with us.  Your space is a perfect example of what sharing with others is all about.  Have a great Thanksgiving.

Though I\’m not a winter person, your snowy lane is beautiful. It looks so peaceful and quiet. Now,if you\’ll pardon me, I\’m going back to my recliner,my hot raspberry tea, and my fleece blanket! Stay warm and safe!

Your snowy pictures look very inviting to me.  I love it when it snows and part of that is because I don\’t usually have to go out in it if I don\’t want to…lol.  We had a few inches of it but it blew away and melted by the next morning.  I wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving.

    Love and hugs,
    Beth
